Midfoot tuck board offers increased stability. Die-cut EVA sockliner delivers added cushioning. Removable PU sockliner amodates orthotics. Outsole rubber gives traction and durability. Great circuit workout shoe

I am a runner but crosstrain taking a class that is crossfit/circuit training meets body pump. I used my running shoes for these workouts, but I continually felt a little off balance- particularly during lunges. I found reviews of the sublites through a couple fitness blogs (PBFingers.com, carrotsncake.com) and read about the fact that the shoe has a wider base, more stablity, and is built for circuit workouts. A while back, I found some at another retailer and purchased them. While I love my running shoes, I had never really contemplated having another pair of gym shoes, specific to another type of exercise. I am SO glad I purchased these. I felt more stable during lunges and other plyometric exercises, and really feel close to the ground and secure for lifting. These shoes are LIGHT and also look great. For the cost, compared to some other brands (nike frees, etc) I think the sublites are a great buy. The shoe provides a base level of cushioning, but compared to my running shoes (which are very structured and corrective for over-pronation) these are pretty bare bones. I adjusted quickly, but if you need more cushioning and support these might not be your shoe.

This is a versatile shoe. I can wear it for every day things such as running to the store or for workouts such as riding my bike or for high intensity interval training. I have flat and wide feet. This shoe fits snug enough so that my foot doesn't slide from side to side and gives me plenty of room so I don't feel crammed. This is a great shoe. First learned about it in fitnessmagazine.com
