The gym where you work out doesn't have stationary bikes, a running track, floor, walls, a ceiling, or climate control. The Merrell Siren Sport Gore-tex XCR is an athletic shoe for women who stretch their limits on real ground under open skies. A Gore-tex lining makes this women's shoe completely waterproof, but breathes, to wick away perspiration. The XCR version keeps your feet comfortable in a wider temperature range. A Vibram Siren outsole adds stability and traction you need for off-road running, speed hiking or trail biking. The Q-Form triple-density molded footframe promotes healthy alignment for a woman's stride.This Merrell shoe features a speed lacing system that gets your feet in the shoe and out the door in a flash. The Merrell Siren Sport Gore-tex XCR sounds the alarm when the weather comes up bad and keeps pace with the worst it can throw out!

Great walking shoes

I have great difficulty with shoes because I need a wide toe box. I have a pet sitting business and walk a LOT and these shoes have kept my feet and legs comfortable. I'm currently buying my second pair before they discontinue the style.

I love these shoes. I have to be honest and say that I can be one of the pickiest people to shop for shoes with. This has been especially difficult because I am planning on going on a backpacking trip through Europe and could not find shoes that provided the versatility and comfort I wanted without looking too much like tennis shoes or hiking shoes. I saw these at a store and knew that they had the right look. What really won me over though was their comfort. They are probably some of the most comfortable shoes that I have worn. After wearing them (of course this did not include any blisters whatsoever) I would say that I will wear these every day leading up to my trip because are perfect.Definitely recommend!

Extremely comfortable shoes! I wear them to work with Khaki's, and being on my feet for 8 hours...they are perfect.I have worn my other Merrell Siren MidLeather boots...every day since last May! To work, in the woods...everywhere.These seemed to run a little small though. My other Merrell's are 9's and in these I bought a 10.
