not bad shoe, but not great

I saw the name Columbia and thought great quality and heavy duty. Don't get me wrong..this shoe is not bad, it's just not amazing. I have women's size 12 very FLAT feet and have a hard time finding a good/cute shoe in that size, so I shop Amazon for the bigger selection but take the risk of not knowing how they will feel. The size 12 was perfect, but I noticed the arch inside the shoe was quite uncomfortable until they broke in about a month later. It is a pretty firm high arch in the inner middle of the shoe. This shoe would probably be great for someone with a naturally high arch to give support, but for me with flat feet it was uncomfortable and forcing my foot into a shape it's not meant to be.After I broke the shoe in (about a month later) it's not bad. I'm a nurse though and on my feet all the time so this was an uncomfortable month. Cute shoe though!
