No arch support, bad fit :(
By Alicia Aberle
I ordered the shoes as I've liked Hi-Tec before. Got size 8 (normally wear about 7.5-8). They are too big, wider than expected and have absolutely no support through the foot. Very disappointed. Returned product.

Returning these
By Tia
Looks: excellent. Design: excellent. Construction: mix of great & awful. Inside fabric: awful. The gusset needs much breaking down from lumps and stiffness as does the collar of the whole shoe. I wanted these work - gave them some time and though - but the very stiff bumps created by the gussets overlaps are so painful. They will be going back. Sigh!

I'm a runner-these aren't for running!
By angie & Shane
I chose these because of the combination of price, reviews and claims. I bought my size. They are a little big. I guess that will be good the few weeks in winter I will need thicker socks (in Florida). I thought since the claim was they can be used for running (which I wouldn't regardless of what they say) they'd be more comfortable. Well, I know they need to be broken in but my pinky toe and the one next to it periodically screamed out in pain over the course of a week-end camping trip. Didn't walk more than a total of 6 miles just around camp but half the time I was wishing I wasn't wearing these. They are very stiff all over. I am going to continue to try to break them in but if I had to do it over I don't think I'd buy these.
