Breathable air mesh combined with Spira's Saddle Support Strap technology cradles and supports the midfoot. The 5mm molded EVA footbed can be removed to accommodate orthotics. Compression molded EVA incorporating Spira's WaveSpring technology in the heel. The women's Spira Valencia Mesh is a cushioned walking shoe that provides superb heel and forefoot cushioning built in harmony with a stable sole platform. The forefoot has anatomically aligned flex grooves that aid in flexibility and toe off efficiency.

Not true to size

Just a useful hint for potential buyers, this shoe was at least a size too big. And you are going to be charged for the return.Good luck.

I have worn spiras for years and love them. They do wear quickly, and are expensive, but with foot problems, it's been worth it, plus I walk several miles most days, 3-5, and wear them at other times, so maybe it's just me.\This pair are just not comfortable. I can't say what it is. Maybe as one reviewer said, they run big. But I really have given up trying to wear them.Let me know if you need these in a size 8:)
