Best barefoot shoe

provides great protection while giving the barefoot experience. This is my third pair - I use all three - climbed for 6 miles across lava in hawaii - excellent traction and protection. White soles are sometimes slippery on wet surfaces, my other pair, black soles has better traction on damp /wet surfaces.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I am a fan of the barefoot movement and it virtually cured my feet problems. I had a podiatrist tell me I could never go barefoot again and then I started working out with a kettlebell trainer. It's important to wear a flat soled shoe or go barefoot for these workouts so you are in contact with the floor. After about 3 months of wearing flat soles and going barefoot all my feet problems went away due to strengthing my feet from not overcushioning. I can wear these at workouts and all day. I could not be happier.

Great Trail Shoes

For me, these proved to be great for the hiking and climbing that I did in Japan recently. As I expected the shoes to be snug, I ordered up half a size bigger and that proved to be a good fit. Ii I had ordered US8, i think i would not have been able to get the feet in!Tried running in them and think my Merrell Barefoot with Vibram soles provided better support. As it is, there is no arch support at all in these shoes so I felt like I was slapping the road a bit too heavily.All in, I would recommend a buy for these but more as a trail / walking shoe than for running.
