Whether you walk or run on the trail, Vasque's Aether Tech Boa keeps pace with your changing needs. It's a sporty and versatile trail shoe that combines the essential support features of a training shoe with the durability and stability of a light day hiker. Beneath the stylish and cool, breathable Airmesh Nylon upper is a dual density EVA footbed and an innovative EVA midsole. Vasque added high rebound inserts along the heel and forefoot to help minimize fatigue and increase overall comfort. While many day hiking shoe designs add extra ounces with heavy reinforcement materials, Vasque takes a little off with a lighter TPU-injected nylon textile plate. Beneath the dual density EVA footbed and midsole is a low-profile, trail-ready Vasque Aether Outsole for excellent traction over a variety of surfaces.

Worn out in a month

I was delighted when I first got these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable for long walks and the lace system perfect. However after a month I have holes in both shoes on both sides of each shoe where my toes bend. Previous vasque products have been wonderful which made this purchase even more disappointing. I walk about 7 miles a day which shod be nothing for a hiking shoe.

Super Comfortable Hiking Shoes

I didn't know what to expect but these shoes are super comfortable. The awesome lacing system makes it super easy to take these shoes on or off. They are thick enough that I didn't feel any rocks or anything I stepped on and they are definitely made for running AND hiking. My only complaint was that the tongue kept irritating the front of my foot at first, but once the shoe was broken in, it was fine. I love these shoes.
