This is a shoe constructed for runner who clock up plenty of mileage and need pronation control and stable cushioning while still being light in weight.Contagrip LT provides unique traction technology. With a mix of compound, lob geometry and density, it gives the shoe brilliant grip and durability, regardless of the terrain underneath. As well as this, a 3D chassis provides fantastic stability, as well as protection, in mountainous terrain.Climashield is a balance of protection from the weather, as well as breathability for the shoe. Happy with my purchase

Bought these shoes for winter road running. Like the traction that they provide on icier, snow covered streets. The quick-lace system is a neat feature. I also like how the clima shield keeps my feet dry when running through light snow. I normally wear a 6.5 with my Nike running shoes. As noted by another reviewer, these runners do fit slightly bigger but I agree with the other reviewer in that I don't think I would have gone down a size.

Awesome trail shoe

I bought these shoes for two reasons. I have overpronation and now developed plantar fasciitis. These shoes are very support w/ great cushioning. Also I do run on the trails and they offer a good fit and traction. Unless it's pouring rain or you run thru wet fields, the shoe offers decent waterproofing as well. I'm all over the place with my dog so I use it for hiking/ walks with him also. Perfect for New England terrain. I recommend the shoe. The fit is a little big for size but I wouldn't go a size smaller. LOVE this shoe. Worth the money.

I was impressed with the cool design of the shoe, they were great for running off road in icy conditions, as they are semi water proof it would seem. They have really high arches and alot of cushioning, so they were a bit uncomfortable for me the whole time I had them, they lasted for probably about 1000 miles of tough trail and road running, so I was really over all happy with this shoe.
