Casual comfort right out of the box

Purchased these to slip on and wear around the house or run errands (they're touted as a recovery shoe). Strictly comfort and convenience over fashion, so I purchased 5.5 in cold blue/cane (basically a powder blue, but a great Amazon deal--cost just over half of what the other colors cost).They arrived today (before noon, just ordered yesterday afternoon--another awesome Amazon Prime transaction) and I'm wearing them now. May be the most comfortable slides I've owned!PROS: Lightweight shoe (7 oz in size 7). Nylon pull-tab for easy slip-on/off. Breathable fabric/mesh upper is both supportive and flexible. No binding or pressure at all in the toe box! (Accommodates bunions on size 5.5 feet--rare in a medium width). Anti-microbial treated footbed. Removable insoles are perforated for breathability and extra-padded at heels and balls of foot. Thick, cushiony, flexible midsoles, like walking on marshmallows. Non-skid, non-marking outsoles (sticky noises on the kitchen floor out of the box). Shoes are machine-washable.CONS: In 5.5, this pair ran 1/2-size large in length and width. Barefoot, the shoes were loose and could be kicked right off. With socks they stay on (as they probably would as water shoes). Mid-arch support (but insoles are removable if you need more).(NOTE that Amazon offers these in 2 styles. The ones I purchased have synthetic footbed; the Black/Autobahn/Papaya and Celadon/Cane/Orange appear to have leather footbed.)Offers a slightly supinated step (leans slightly outward, weight on outer foot), and I'm already supinated. But I'm not running marathons in them. A great casual, comfortable slide to wear around the house and on errands.

RX Slide

I was trying to find shoes to wear for 13 hour shifts in a hospital. You have to order down a 1/2 to full size as they are made huge. These are soft to walk on and quite dry due to the mesh but I found I had to grip to much with my toes to walk in these around the house, making my toes hurt the next day, plus my legs and ankles hurt. Not enough arch support probably. If I was using these for what they were intended....after hiking, running, training, etc....they would be awesome, as your feet could dry out and it feels like you are walking on pillows.

Never underestimate the value of a good slipper/house shoe. Completely relives pain in my lower back I used to get from walking around in flip flops (what a flippin fool I was). I have hard floors in almost every room in my home. My feet, knees, hips, and back used to ache after cleaning and cooking all day. I went from flip flops, to Uggs, to these at last. These are unmatched for support, feather weight, and comfort. Positively unbeatable.
