Great for trails, walking the dog & amusing the cat

The WT700 is comfortable, decently supportive without feeling restrictive, breathes well, has good traction and somehow manages to look good, too. When I wear these shoes I find myself inspired to go beyond the exercise limits I set for myself that day--that's how good they feel. The WT700 has quickly become my favourite shoe for walking/jogging with the dog up the hills in our region. Since purchasing, both my dog and I have enjoyed longer outings and more thorough exercise. I have even taken to wearing these shoes around town when running errands.Oh... And my cat also likes these shoes. A lot. Perhaps too much. If I don't put them out of her reach I find her gnawing on the shoelaces.

Nice shoes, but

They are not good if you have high arches or a high instep. They don't give you much room. They are a very low shoe. Other than that they are well constructed and have a lot of support.

This shoe is lightweight, nice looking and appears well-made. However, it runs much smaller than other New Balance shoes. It also sits very low around the heel/ankle area. I will be returning, not exchanging, these shoes.
